HE MARVELETTES – “Marveletts Sing” (Tamla 229, 1962) MONO LP – Rare Misprint Cover, Yellow Label

Ultra-rare original 1962 mono pressing of The Marvelettes Sing, featuring the notorious “Marveletts” misspelling on the front cover—a coveted error among Motown collectors. This edition sports the yellow Tamla label with globe-and-record logo and “Motown Record Corp.” text, consistent with early 1960s pressings.

🔹 Cover: VG++ with little age discoloration on back; front title misprinted as “Marveletts Sing” (correct spelling on back and label) 🔹 Vinyl: VG++ with two light surface marks, plays through with minimal noise 🔹 Label: Yellow Tamla mono label, clean with no writing or stickers
