Here we offer a VERY SCARCE (especially in this condition) VG to VG+ ORIGINAL U.S Cori (Framingham, Massachusetts label) 7" 45 RPM by The Mauve featuring the tracks "You've Got Me Crying'" b/w "In the Revelation", issued in 1966. This single rarely turns up anymore, even in Massachusetts, and has attracted much interest in recent years among 60s garage-beat collectors. When it does show up, it is usually well worn! The copy we offer is in the VG to VG+ range. We are VERY strict graders, and we are quite sure that most collectors would grade this nearer VG+, especially for this 45, but we'll be conservative. It would be an UPGRADE COPY for most collectors, and by Goldmine standards it is closer to the VG+ grade than the VG. Very nice, overall VERY clean, original gloss/shine, well-maintained 45 with evidence of light play (slight to light signs of partial groove wear) and any other marks-signs of use are indeed slight to very light (superficial, very fine, very light hairlines/small, superficial, slight surface marks for example) and really more consistent with a VG+ grade. PLAY GRADED-SOUND QUALITY: The music is UP FRONT, CRISP and quite clear on both sides, A-side has occasional SLIGHT background noise, being fussy, and the B-side has some slight to very light background noise, again being picky. The LABELS are VG++ to EX, clean, crisp and shiny, with the USUAL black marker cross out of Boss Todes' name (THIS IS HOW THE 45 WAS ISSUED). Being very picky, there is perhaps a slight bit of age darkening of label around center hole. SEE PHOTOS, as they are part of the description, and we apologize for any shadows.
