Description
The Medallions - Rhythm & Blues (Dootone EPD-202), 1956.
Rare 4-song EP from Vernon Green and The Medallions on the Dootone label (This is NOT the re-release on the Dooto label.). Great group vocal doo wop music from the mid-50s (Two songs from '54, one each from '55 and '56).
Songs: Buick 59 / Coupe De Ville Baby / The Letter / Mary Lou
Cover is VG- with 1.5" seam split on top, light foxing on back cover. (See photos.) Record grades at VG+ only due tiny visible bubbles in vinyl that have hardly any effect on the play (Play-graded at Near Mint). There are a few low range pops at a couple spots in Coupe De Ville and Mary Lou, not like the pops caused by dirt, scratches or scuff marks. Plays clean on my set-up and I'm sure it will be fine on yours. Otherwise, this would be a Near Mint grading.
