Description

Here we have the original pressing of the Mekons double A side single Where were you / i'll have to dance then on my own. On the fast label .
As a post punk band, the Mekons were never a success like their compatriots in Gang of Four or, even, Delta 5; they didn’t even put out the consistently good material like their friends, they never even released a decent album. But the singles! The singles were outstanding. Songs like “Where Were You” and “Work All Week” were like amazing ‘76/’77 styled punk with the self.

The record is in good condition some very minor scratching but they where played by myself back in the day .see photo

The sleeve is in good condition some minor wear and has some yellowing due to the age .
(please see photos ) .

I am not an expert on old vinyl so I have described the item as best as I can .

These have come from my own collection That I have have since they where bought by myself .
I will be listing more rare and hard to get punk records over the next few months .
