Description
The Men From The Ministry BBC Transcription Disc Vinyl LP/Record 1980. CN 3600/S
An original BBC Transcription disc from 1980 of two episodes of the classic British radio comedy 'The Men From The Ministry'. These episodes form part of the 14 shows re-recorded in 1980 due to the originals from the 1960s not being kept in the BBC archive. The 14 episodes were recorded for distribution overseas by the BBC Transcription Service and were not broadcast in the UK at the time. The two episodes on this disc are as follows:
SIDE 1
The Men From The Ministry - 68. Matrix no: 147278-S
Episode: Traffic Diversions. The original recording of this in 1963 was named 'The End Of The Road'.
SIDE 2
The Men From The Ministry - 69. Matrix no: 147279-S
Episode: Watch This Space. The original recording of this in 1962 was named 'The Big Rocket'.
The record is in VG+ condition and plays very nicely with just the occasional very minor background crackle/click. The sleeve is in VG condition with just some light general wear. The plain white poly-lined inner sleeve is in VG condition with some creasing on the opening edge.
Note that I use Record Collector's grading system for all my record sales.
The record will be removed from its original sleeve and placed at the side of it in a new white paper sleeve to avoid any seam split during transit. Both will be placed inside a poly sleeve and then into a vinyl mailer with a stiffener.
