The Meteors ACETATE LP "In Heaven" ,

Recently rescued from the now defunct SRT / mastering studios in St. Ives, Cambridgeshire.

As far as I can tell the track listing follows the normal stock-copy issue and does not differ in anyway other than the sleeve of the stock-copy gives the tracks as 8 tracks on side 1 and 7 tracks on side 2 .....but the banding on the acetate itself only appears to have 7 tracks on BOTH sides ....but after a quick needle-drop listen (to accertain the track listing) the apparently "missing" song (In Heaven) is present and correct and all songs listed on the sleeve appear on the acetate.

I am unfamiliar with the songs on the stock-copy of this LP and do not know if all copies of this LP appeared in this manner?? ...if so , then it is identical to the stock-copy ...My lack of knowledge about The Meteors also leaves the the outside possibility that there may be diffrent takes on this acetate to the normal stock-copy?? ....HOWEVER THIS IS ONLY A POSSIBILITY ,  for the sake of bidding , please assume that this Acetate is identical to the normal issue......but you may get lucky

The record itself comes in a plain back sleeve and this itself has been put into a "The Meteors In Heaven" stock-copy sleeve , presumably at some later date as acetates are normally produced before sleeve production. ....The sleeve shows signs of wear , and would grade this sleeve as VG

Side 1 label , is in EX condition , with the usual handwritten name/speed info  and intrestingly it also has the hand written name "P. Paul French" on it (I believe he was the lead singer?) , who has written this?? ...I dont know?? ....maybe P. Paul French himself , or maybe a studio engineer who intended him to have it??

SIDE 2 label , is VG+ with only 2 tiny edge scuffs to distract.

The acetate surface itself is in VG+ condition , it has a few light scuffs to it on both sides and a few "paper-rub" marks on both sides (mainly caused by the harsh black inner sleeve its been kept in for the last 25-30 years) , but NONE of the marks are deep or should cause any problems should you choose to play it.

IMPORTANT , I used to have a second-hand record shop and have previously had a lot of expirience selling records , HOWEVER I now run a busy pub and no longer have the time to dedicate to answering emails that previous Ebay selling showed me are nessisary , I WILL TRY to answer any (inevitable) questions you may have but please have patience with me if it takes me a little longer than normal to reply ....I just dont have enough hours in the day to be at the computer all the time ......So please dont wait until the dying hours/minutes of the auction to ask me any important questions as I probably won't get time to answer.

Record will be sent in a sturdy mailer and stiffeners for protection , all records are sent at cost prices (I do not gouge for p&p) ....

If paypal payment is made the buyer must pay for it to be sent by a trackable postage method as perscribed by Paypal ...NO EXCEPTIONS

UK cheques are fine , UK Postal orders are fine , UK cash is fine.

The record may be picked up in person from my pub if you so desire ....within a reasonable time scale of a week

If paying via PAYPAL please wait for me to get back to you with the total P&P costs before sending payment , as this will vary depending on which county you are from.

Thanks and good luck
