Description
This is a vintage extremely rare doo wop 10" LP record featuring The Midnighters with Hank Ballard titled "Their Greatest Hits". This very scarce 1954 released record album is on the Federal LP label #295-90 and has 8 great sides by this wonderful group. This is one of the holy grails in doo wop lp record collecting and you rarely see one for sale. Condition of the record is mint minus and by the center hole it appears to have never been played. The record has a lot of shine and clean labels. The cover is very good minus with no writing. The spine seam is split from top to bottom. The top seam shows wear and has a 2 1/2" split on the left corner edge and a 1/2" seam split on the top right corner edge. The bottom edge shows some wear and has a 1 1/2" seam split on the bottom left edge. There is a stain in the bottom left corner and there is a slight smell in that corner area only. Three edges at one time had tape on them and there is some staining and discoloration to the edges. The front cover is not as noticeable as the back. The back cover shows some age yellowing. The cover still looks decent and colorful! There are no stickers or writing. Please see 8 photos! This is one of the most very sought after records to add to your collection!
