Description
MEGA-RARE and IMPORTANT LP. The Midnighters, Their Greatest Hits, featuring Hank Ballard. This is the impossible to find 1955 original on the Federal label with the super-rare red background cover. Matte black and silver lettering deep groove labels and flat edge heavy vinyl. Very cool record! This album rarely comes up for auction. NO RESERVE!!! Check out my other rare records.

Grading: Side one of the LP is VG- with light hairlines and scuffing. Plays VG+ with minor surface noise during the quiet parts - nothing distracting. Side 2 is visually G with one scary mark, as well as, several surface marks and scratches. Luckily they do not affect play too badly. Surface noise is more pronounced on Side 2, but there are no skips nor loud ticks. Side 2 plays VG. Thick cardboard cover is VG+ with 1" splits on the top and bottom seams near where the album is inserted into the cover. Nice condition readable spine. Minimal label wear. See detailed photos. Considering the condition problems, the album is a good listen without major distractions and the cover is nice.
Cleaned on a VPI 16.5 record cleaning machine.
