Description
Previous buyer changed his mind so I'm re-listing this oldie. I mention light scratches below, so I had a fellow worker who collects 45's listen to the album for me because I have no player. He said the first song or two (which are the main singles, I guess) have some background noise but plays well. Other than that it sounded good with little or no cracking or noise. He played both sides without any skips.
Original 1958 release, rare Hank Ballard, The Midnighters “Their Greatest Hits”, Federal Long Playing 33-1/3, Hi-Fi recording #541. Cover is in good condition with corner wear and water stain on the front, top left corner (isn't noticeable on back). There is no splitting at the seams. Other than what looks like a marker swipe on the back lower right corner (see photo) there are no markings or writing on the cover. Plain white inner-sleeve (yellowed with age) with water stain in same location as front cover. Black and Silver Federal label looks good and vinyl is also good with some scratching. Cover and Album are overall a real nice collectible.
All of the records I am listing could probably use a good cleaning by the right person, I did not wipe or touch them other than taking the pictures. I’m not a collector so I’m not able to “grade” the album nor do I have a player to listen to it. Everyone has their own idea of what VG or NM should be so I’m not going to attempt that one.
