Something of a lost chapter in the history of Texas psychedelia, The Mike Gunn featured Mr. Tom Carter of (later) Charalambides fame.  Though they'd soon abandon the heavier and darker aspects of their distinctly fried sound, on "Hemp for Victory", The Mike Gunn sound like some unholy basement scuzz fusion of Black Sabbath and the Butthole Surfers.  Thick, heavy, throbbing and resinous, with long-lost vocals howling about drugs, fears and dancing girls, caught up in a blacklit tunnel of psychedelic guitar damage.  On Anomie Records, who also brought The Pain Teens to the world's attention.  Silkscreened cover.

Cover and vinyl show a bit of wear but are in great shape considering their age and the fact that they were bought used.  Vinyl shows a few light scuffs but no noticeable scratches.  Cover is unfortunately marred by a price sticker that was at some point removed carelessly and some light ring wear.

Shipping and Purchase Information:

Unless sealed, all records will be shipped outside of cover to prevent spine splitting.  12"/10" records will be shipped wrapped in bubble wrap inside an LP box.  7" records and CDs will be shipped between two pieces of cardboard inside a bubble mailer.
