The Miles Davis Sextet - Miles & Monk At Newport (Rare First Pressing Promo). Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Media Mail.
Rare First Pressing on Columbia Two Eye Label (See Pictures).
Side 1 consists of The Miles Davis Sextet recorded live at Newport Jazz in 1958. The sextet features Miles Davis, John Coltrane, and Cannonball Adderley.
Side 2 consists of The Thelonious Monk Quartet recorded live at the Newport Jazz Festival in 1963. The quartet features Monk and Pee Wee Russell.
True heavyweights of Jazz.
This pressing indicates it is for demonstration purposes and not for sale. (See pictures). I have never seen an original stereo version promo listed on discogs or eBay. I have checked popsike and do not see where one had ever sold. This is truly rare.
The vinyl is NM. Please see pictures. I do not rate albums NM unless they truly deserve it. This record is stone cold quiet with no scratches or marks. Play tested, not just visually tested. Beautiful album. Heavy weight vinyl. Beautiful Columbia Two Eye label.
