Description
About This Record. This is the much praised Millennium LP on Columbia records, one of the scarcer titles (along with Skip Spence's 'Oar' and the United States of America.
I do NOT use EX!
Cover Condition. The cover is a super nice VG+, seams and spine are great except for about a 1/2" bottom seam tear at right opening. Nicest cover of this I have ever seen.
Vinyl Condition. Looks lower end of VG+, but plays VG+ to M-. No feelable scratches or defects, just some moderate play and paper marks. Labels mint. I confess, I hate this record. I sold my other stock and my promo copy and now this. I kept the best LP cover, and the best sounding vinyl! I've gotten used to 'Forever Changes" by Love and almost like it, but this in my mind is pathetic and I don't understand why people call this psych. Just my two cents. Enjoy this LP, though!
Grading Vinyl. I use modified Goldmine grading standards. Mint/NM/VG+/VG/VG-/G+/G. On rare occasions I may use VG++. I DO NOT use the EX grade! My VG+ is EX to EX+, and my VG is EX-. I grade conservatively; look at my feedback! I play grade my vinyl with an MC Ruby 3 Micro Benz cartridge. I do not alter the records, covers, or labels with pens, tape, glue or other stuff. When I notice such damage, I point it out in detail!
