Description

Vinyl double lp 12" GOLDEN GLASS compilation of recordings by The Misunderstood. Released 2000 in Italy on Get Back (GET500). This is a vinyl reissue of the CD compilation THE LEGENDARY GOLD STAR ALBUM / GOLDEN GLASS, released on Cherry Red in 1997. The first disk features sessions that included vocalist Rick Brown, recorded at Gold Star Studios, before the band found fleeting fame in the UK. The GOLDEN GLASS recordings (on disk two) took place a couple of years later, retaining the services of pedal steel guitarist Glenn Campbell. I believe Steve Hoard, the successor to Rick Brown, was also SoCal recruit.
