For sale is this UK original vinyl 7" single, in a fold-out picture sleeve, by The Mob. Entitled Witch Hunt, the B-side is Shuffling Souls. On the All The Madmen label, the catalogue number is MAD 002 and the date of issue is 1980. This is the first pressing which has white labels with a gold sticker on each side and the first version of the picture sleeve which has a white sleeve stapled inside, All The Madmen credits at the bottom on the back and a third width inside flap with the Yeovil address at the bottom (see pics).
Condition
The vinyl is in Excellent condition.
The labels are in Excellent condition, clean and bright with undamaged stickers and only the very lightest of spindle marks.
The picture cover is in Very Good Minus condition with just slight edge and corner wear but some creasing and a sticker on the front (see pics).
All vinyl records are strictly graded according to Record Collector magazine's grading system, the long established UK standard, with any specific flaws mentioned along with the grading. They are sent in custom-made mailers, with built-in or added stiffeners, and are packaged outside their sleeves to prevent edge splits. Singles without a picture sleeve will either have a plain sleeve or a correct-era original (not repro) record company sleeve (stated above). Original record company sleeves may not be the exact sleeve issued with the single so may have a different catalogue number hand-written in the corner but they will be the correct design for the single. They may have a bit of wear, writing, stickers, sticker marks etc but will be in a generally good, useable condition without edge splits or sellotape.
