Description

This 12" LP recording was recorded and released in 1956 by Dawn Records. After recording "Four Brothers" with Al Cohn, Herb Steward and Serge Chalof, Zoot Sims gained prominance in the jazz world. On this session he teams with Bob Brookmeyer on valve trombone (excellent solos) and rhythmn section to record this outstanding jazz album. Selections include "September in the Rain", "Down in the Loft", "Ghost of a Chance", "Not So Deep", Them There Eyes", 'Our Pad", "Dark Clouds" and "One To Blow On". The LP has some scratches and surface noise but doesn't deter the great be-bop emmenating from Zoot Sims and Bob Brookmeyer. Both the record and the cover would rate good or good- in my opinion. Buyer in the USA will pay $4.00 shipping. International buyer would pay for added postage.
