Description

I purchased this album new and professionally cleaned/treated the LP playing surfaces using a VPI 16.5 record cleaning machine followed by an ultrasonic cleaning using a Degritter and de-magnetized using a Furutech DeMag device.  I have auditioned this LP twice(only) and it plays as good or likely better than new in my humble opinion.  This mono recording plays so well that it could be considered as in stereo on first listen.  It is beautifully performed and recorded by none other than the incredible Rudy Van Gelder.  From the Original Jazz Classics sticker: "The earlier MJQ sessions were released on 78s, 45s, Extended Plays, and 10-inch LPs.  Later they were collated on 12-inch LPs.  This was the first session done specifically for 12-inch...".  From my music library.
