The Modern Jazz Sextet
Self titled 1956 UK Mono 1st Press, Columbia catno 33CX 10048
Stored and unplayed since at least 1983, confirmed 1st variant via runouts.
Vinyl - under torchlight both sides just show a few superficial faint hairlines at worst... there is almost no visible wear. Labels are clean bar a spindle mark so has been played very long ago at some point! Abit of build up over the decades mean its lost a little gloss so a good deep ultrasonic clean will be completed in the Degritter upon any sale.
Jacket - original fully laminated showing its age yet still sturdy and feels good to last. Some storage wear is to be expected though... at its worst the laminate has blistered near the entry where its most worn of all. Inner sleeve looks too clean and tidy to be original but is poly lined and has obviously helped to maintain the fine condition of this oldie!
I truly believe this to be a fine example and thus can be bought with confidence.
