Alan Hawkshaw, surely the best hammond organ grinder the UK has ever produced, with his finest outing, "The Champ" under his Mohawks guise.
This is a 100% original 60's Dutch Pressing (Pama NY 800 901), and is in mighty fine condition too. I think this is rarer than the UK pressing, as it hardly ever comes up for sale. I've had the UK press 3 or 4 times, but the dutch pressing only once before.
This is personally my favourite album of all time. You rarely get a collection of such high quality hammond tracks appear on one album, but every one is a winner here. Contains one of the greatest B-Boy breaks of all time, the title track "The Champ". Sampled by so many producers and championed by so many DJ's.
I doubt if I need to give you a tracklist, 'cos if you're looking, you must have an idea of what this album is all about, but email me if you need it, or just go and look up on the internet ('cos that's what it's for!).
Cover has some writing on it and some darkening where sellotape once was. The top edge has some tape on a small top tear. The LP has got a sticker on the label. This came from a radio station, so it's probably just their way of identifiying the albums they held. LP is nice and shiny and sounds great. Has some surface marks, but nothing serious. This is one of the better copies of this lp i've seen and I've had a few. CHECK OUT THE PHOTO'S TO SEE THE LP'S CONDITION.

CONDITION OF MEDIA > VG++ (In superb condition, I've played this through a couple of times and it sounds great!)
MY GRADING IS AS FOLLOWS:- G / VG / NM / M , WHERE A + OR A - DENOTES FURTHER INDICATION OF CONDITION and the only record to get mint is an unplayed record. Even my G (good) grade will play through with no jumps or major defects.
