  Notes to identify this as a FIRST EVER PRESS

  First version cover with Moody Blues in BLACK text, instead of blue and also in same size font as The London Symphony Orchestra. 
  
  "Time to Get Away" is not mentioned ANYWHERE on the album: it is missing from the front cover track listing (should follow "Forever Afternoon (Tuesday?)" but precede "EVENING"), from the rear cover track list and from Side Two of the vinyl centre labels (the first track on Side Two should read: "THE AFTERNOON: Forever Afternoon (Tuesday?); Time to Get Away").

• The Vinyl  VERY NEAR MINT

  Please note ! This is the original HEAVY THICKER AND DEEPER GROOVED TYPE OF VINYL (later press were much more flimsier and less robust) !!!

  On initial visual inspection the playing surface looks awesome I can't see even a blemish. Any marks that could possibly be seen under a strong would be caused by the vinyl been slid in and out of its sleeve! Importantly There is (no) needle scratches or audio sounding marks that I heard at all  !!!!!

  The Audio Quality NEAR MINT

  I have played this through track for track at very loud volume on a top REGA system,  the audio is awesome! 

  Crystal clear and vibrant through out, with (no) distortion or any signs of groove wear at all  !!!! Please note! i am highly critical about the audio quality on my records as it is my prime interest above rarity! This plays awesome you will not be disappointed, also this being the 1st and very early is highly collectible and sought after!!!

  Certainly (no) clicks pops or jumps!!  As good as it gets in my opinion!! 

  THIS AUDIO IS RATED AT THE VERY TOP ON ALL FREQUENCIES! 

  GRADED AS NEAR MINT!! 

  UNBELIEVABLE FOR A VINYL THAT IS 51 YEARS OLD !!!!! IN MY OPINION THESE ORIGINAL 1ST PRESSINGS PRODUCE THE BEST AUDIO QUALITY CANNOT BE SURPASSED BY LATER PRESSINGS !!!

  This is the original ''Clout & Baker'' Printed laminated gate fold cover still  in nice condition!! Super glossy appearance !! on the rear stating "Made in England" laminated with "Clarifoil"

  (NO) SPLITS OR TEARS OR NASTY NAMES WRITTEN ON ETC ONLY age / handling wear on unlaminated rear of sleeve. nothing major see pictures

  This is the CORRECT ORIGINAL Polylined  ''Patents Application No 40904/61'' ,,''Made In England'' Inner sleeve (see photos)

   (no) splits or tears just light minimal creases\ age spotting and is stored separately from the vinyl to keep it that way l!!!
