Welcome to my auction. I have been collecting records for over 22 years and now the time has come to part with some. Over the coming months I shall be listing some rare and interesting records. I grade by RECORD COLLECTOR'S grading system with + and - if I feel needed.

Condition: Up for auction is a first press MONO copy of The Moody Blues In Search Of The Lost Chord.
The vinyl still has a great dark black shine with just some very light inner sleeve marks that do not effect play at all. The GROOVED labels do have some light spindle marks but are free from stickers and writing, please see pictures.It comes in its original inner sleeve. The sleeve is also in super condition with extremely light storage wear from previous owner. The laminate is in wonderful condition with no pealing.There are no tears, rips, stickers or writing. Fantastic album in fantastic condition.
 MOST 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS LP - HAVE A MONO/STEREO HOLE ON THE COVER BACK AND A STANDARD DOUBLE CARDBOARD GATE FOLD SLEEVE.  HOWEVER THIS IS ONE OF THE VERY EARLIEST MONO 1ST PRESSINGS WITH NO MONO/STEREO HOLE ON THE BACK COVER - AND IT ALSO HAS THE VERY EARLIEST STYLE OF COVER.  THE EARLIEST STYLE OF COVER IS VERY EASILY IDENTIFIABLE.  THIS IS THE EARLIEST COVER STYLE WITH A SINGLE SHEET GATE FOLD COVER  WITH A 'RECORD POUCH' ATTACHED TO THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE INSIDE GATE FOLD THIS IS ONE OF THE EARLIEST AND RAREST 1ST MONO PRESSINGS OF THIS INCREDIBLE LP YOU CAN FIND. IT IS ALSO THE EARLIEST PRESSED RECORD TOO - WITH 'DSS' LABELS AND 1W/1W MATRIX ENDINGS.
