Description
This is another Mono offering as I've just listed a superb mono copy of OTTOAD. This time it's Children's Children. This is a very nice first UK pressing with the red mono Threshold labels used on mono UK pressings.
The matrices are XARL 9281 P-3A
and on the B side XARL 9282 P-2A.
The sleeve is in very good condition with a nice straight spine that remains legible. The only issue is someone has removed the mono sticker to the top right front and there is a small amount of damage. See photos. Overall, a very decent gatefold sleeve with relatively little wear. They were not the best sleeves and didn't cope very well with regular usage leading to wear and tear.
The red/pink original mono inner is in great shape. Excellent.
The vinyl has obviously been well looked after by the original owner and is in great shape. Clean and with only light surface marks. Plays superbly. Obviously there are the occasional clicks and pops, but nothing to spoil the music. A true classic from a golden era of Moodies music.
Heavyweight vinyl from 1969 weighing in at a very solid 165g. No warps at all......?.... Labels are very clean and tidy. Again, please refer to the photos for more detail.
Overall, a very nice clean and great sounding example.
