Condition Description & Other Information ## Freak Out! is the debut album by American rock band the Mothers of Invention, released on June 27, 1966, by Verve Records. Often cited as one of rock music's first concept albums, it is a satirical expression of frontman Frank Zappa's perception of American pop culture and the nascent freak scene of Los Angeles. It was also one of the earliest double albums in rock music! ##  Both Vinyl's are described as Excellent & were fully play tested playing with amazing sound play-back, below average background & no skips or stops... Record 1 Side 2 has a very small feelable towards end of track 4, & into the beginning of track 5... Minimal effect on sound, some background clicks which are barely audible. Several spindle marks to all four labels. Reasonable number of fine hairlines & sleeve marks to both sides of each record. The Vinyl has retained much of its rich waxy lustre.  The Gatefold Cover is very conservatively described as VG+. There is some visible edge/spine & corner-wear. There are some fine cracks to spine & edges with associated wrinkles. There is some ring-wear to front & verso. There are some colour & paper losses to edges & spine. There is some very minor foxing here & there but not really noticeable. No seam splits that I can see but inner gatefold spine has been tastefully taped. Couple of minor stains here & there.  Please see attached photos...
