Description
The Mothers Of Invention - Weasels Ripped My Flesh - UK 1970 Reprise RSLP 2028 - Very Good Plus (VG+) condition.
A nice copy of this Mothers album - it is the original issue from 1970 - the stamped matrix on the run out indicates that this is the second variant with numbers:
RSLP 2028 A2 and RSLP 2028 B2.
Plays through with no major issues that I could discern - a really good sound - the cover of Little Richard's "Directly From My Heart To You" with Don "Sugar Cane" Harris on electric violin leaps from the speakers and is just great !
The original paper inner is included but the vinyl is now housed in a brand new poly lined inner for extra protection.
All records carefully cleaned with soft brushes and cloths and play tested on a Audio-Technica AT-LP-120 deck through a Cambridge A2 amp and Gale monitor speakers. As always a professional clean would probably enhance the vinyl.
Sold as seen, in conjunction with grading - please see photos for actual item being sold.
The age of a record has got absolutely nothing to do with the grading system.
A record that has been properly cared for will still play perfectly well after 50 or 60 years - if it doesn't then it has been damaged.
I do my best to note any faults and to grade as accurately as is possible. Erring on the side of caution rather than being misleadingly positive.
