Description
For sale is The Mothers Of Invention's Uncle Meat, released by Warner Brothers Records in 1969. This version has been called the "Jemima Recall" because of the misspelling of one of the songs on side 2 of disc 1. On both the album credits and the label is the song misspelled as "Electric Aunt Jemina" instead of the correct spelling "Electric Aunt Jemima". This original first pressing has become rare because this and a lot of the albums were sent back to the factory. I bought this new, played it and immediately put it away in a new inner sleeve. I always put all my records directly into a protective inner sleeve(s), thus preserving the integrity of the insert(s) and the original inner sleeve(s). The original insert is Near Mint. The vinyl is Near Mint. The cover is also Near Mint. It's been played only on Audiophile equipment and still has a lot of life yet. This would make a great addition to a anyone's collection. I have more albums listed in my Ebay store. Please take a look. They're all Near Mint. I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in plastic inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative.
