GRADINGS ARE BASED ON RECORD COLLECTOR

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, with some very light surface marks - but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have light storage wear - mostly near the edges and / or very light creasing.

VERY GOOD+  - Vinyl will have light surface marks/very light scratches - there should be no skips or jumps - only periodic background surface noise/clicks etc.  There should not be any distortion whilst the vinyl is played and the listening experience should not be disappointing.   

Sleeve with general storage wear - some light distinct creases & light wear around the edges. Possibly split seam and the sleeve may be unstuck.  No writing on sleeve, tears or any defacements.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable plus the cover might have come unstuck.  No sleeve tears or any defacements

GOOD: 

 A record in Good or Good Plus condition can be played through without skipping. But it will have significant surface noise, scratches, and visible groove wear. A cover or sleeve will have seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear, or other defects will be present. While the record will be playable without skipping, noticeable surface noise and "ticks" will almost certainly accompany the playback
