Description

The Mountain Goats - Come Come to the Sunset Tree

A self released album from the Mountain Goats with the home recordings of what many believe is the peak of the Mountain Goats albums to date.

Each LP is white label and comes with a handmade sleeve by John Darnielle.  This is handnumbered.

The front cover features three photographs and track listing

The back cover has "The Strife is o'er" music sheet pasted on with June 22st in pencil and lyric adjusted by John.  The bottom of the sleeve is ink numbered 074/1000, cover photography by Sarah Wilmer and dated 4/17/05

This is an awesome album, and one to love for the music alone, regardless of it's handmade and rare nature.
