THE MUMMIES - Shitsville 7" + Poster!! Megarare
Up for auction is a rare release by the Mummies titled “Sh*tsville” released in 1990 on the Regal Select label as RS-013. Four song EP was one of 100 made with the thick blue colored cover which has no printing/song lyrics printed on inside cover. Includes original Paul Lackman wood block “Censorship” artwork/poster which is autographed and hand numbered 51/100.
Fifty copies of this release with this poster were given to the band as royalty payment. Most others were sent to reviewers, fan magazines or radio stations. With respect to the Sh*tsville release, this is the rarest of the rare.
Outer cover looks pretty close to brand new, near perfect corners, nice bright colored cover which has no issues or concerns. Cover grades M- or nicer. 13” x 11” wood block poster has never been unfolded and grades M- to Near Mint. A rare copy of a rare garage 45 release which rarely comes up for auction.
