Pye International 7N 25407
A forgotten gem here from 1966. Isn't it strange how some really great records never get near the charts, and because of this become virtually forgotten. This particular record hardly ever appears for sale in any condition so grab the opportunity while it's here.
Please note. I do not give my records an overall grade. I try to be as descriptive as possible about the record, and leave potential buyer's to make up their own mind. The vast majority of records i am selling have a sound quality of Excellent or better. So, if you prefer to look at your records rather than play them then none of my items are for you. If, however, you are more interested in sound quality than what a record looks like then it's worth reading on.
This particular record still retains a decent sheen, but viewing it under a 60W light bulb it does have scratches, surface marks and a few scuffs here & there on both sides. Nothing malicious though, certainly no heavy gouges or anything like that, and they don't affect the sound quality of this rare record.
As far as sound quality is concerned, this record plays beautifully with very little (if any) background noise. Please note though, i have only play graded the 'A' side.
Both labels are fine with no rips, tears or writing on and all text is easily readable. However, the 'A' side label does have a faded area (see pic).
Overall, this is still a very decent record. It may no longer look new, but what it lacks in the looks department it certainly makes up for with it's sound quality.
This record really is ultra-rare and even if a better looking one does come up for sale in the next year or so, will it sound as good as this copy?

This record will be sent with a Pye company sleeve. The sleeve may be good, it may be not so good. Pot Luck's the name of the game as far as company sleeves are concerned
I have now had to put a postage charge of £1.90 for my records. This charge stays the same whether you were to buy 1 or 10 of my records. It is 1st Cass (Recorded) and it covers me against possible buyer's who claim items have not been received when, in fact, they have. To offset this cost i have now lowered my starting price from £1.99 to £0.99p. I am not out to make a fortune, just to give still decent records decent new homes where they will be appreciated.
