Description
Bargain copy of The National's excellent album Sleep Well Beast on Blue Vinyl LP, which I think in the UK was an Indie exclusive.
This copy is being sold as a play copy. It has only been played twice and plays all the way through with no pops but it does have some factory blemishes which you may or may not care about.
Please note, I am a very conservative grader of LPs. I do not grade any played record above very good, even if it has only been played once as I think it is dishonest.
Cover: As new and still in its stickered shrink. There is a small impression on the front cover in the middle near the opening, which I only just noticed under the shrink. Cause by the pinching that sometimes happen when they shrink wrap the cover. Would scarcely be noticeable in a plastic cover.
Lyric poster: As new Download: Unused but I do not know if it is still valid. Post card: As new
Inner Sleeves: As new but a few small blemishes. They are matte card which "scuffs" easily. No splits.
Discs are in the same condition from new but have been played twice through.
Disc 1: Fair-Good condition. Record plays through from start to finish without a single pop but there is occasional surface noise on the disc. in the closing moments of side 1 there is some brief, momentary crackling and on sides 1 and 2 there are occasional clicks. When I say clicks I do not mean pops. There is also some occasional ambient vinyl surface noise on side 2 typical of coloured vinyl.
Disc 2: Is relatively quiet but with occasional light clicks here and there. I did notice a dimple on side D track 2 in the surface of the disc but it is inaudible. Listed as good condition but with the blemish on side 2.
Opportunity for a bargain. The blemishes above are why I am selling it as a playing copy but really, they are all quite minor-this is subjective of course so I am selling this LP on the understanding it has some factory blemishes. It is not mint (no record ever is) but is a more than respectable copy of this great album.
