Description
Bargain copy of The National's excellent album Sleep Well Beast on Blue Vinyl LP, which I think in the UK was an Indie exclusive.
This copy is being sold as a play copy. It has only been played once and plays all the way through with no pops but it does have some factory blemishes/ticks which you may or may not care about.
Please note, I am a very conservative grader of LPs. I do not grade any played record above very good, even if it has only been played once as I think it is dishonest.
Cover: As new and still in its stickered shrink.
Lyric poster: As new Download: Unused but I do not know if it is still valid.
Inner Sleeves: As new but a few small factory blemishes. They are matte card which "scuffs" easily and have slight creases from the idiot in the factory pulling the sleeve back to put the LP in. No splits.
Discs are in the same condition from new but have been played through.
Disc 1: Fair condition. Record plays through from start to finish without a single pop or skip but from brand new there is a small mark on the first track of side 1 right at the very start. It looks like a scratch but is actually a small graze. There are some brief clicks through the first segment of the song as a result of this mark. They are not pops but they are clicks. Please bear in mind this is coloured vinyl so there is some normal, ambient vinyl surface noise across the discs. I did notice side 2 had some ticks and clicks here and there but the records were quite "static" when they came out of the sleeve so a thorough clean of the Lp might remove them but I am selling the LP on the understanding it does have occasional ticks and clicks.
Disc 2: Good condition. As new with just occasional light clicks and occasional surface noise common to coloured vinyl. Both discs have hairlines from the card inner sleeves and little marks.
Opportunity for a bargain. The blemish on side 1 is why I am selling it as a playing copy but really, the clicks are quite minor-this is subjective of course so I am selling this LP on the understanding it has some factory blemishes and clicks. It is a very respectable copy of this great album but please don't bid on it if clicks bother you.
