Description
This is a very rare 1st release original white label pressing of early Irish punk band "The Nerves" debut LP on Good Vibrations Records, (not to be confused with completely different US pop band!). Originally sent in as a demo, the record label liked it so well they decided to release it as an "Official Bootleg" limited to 1500 copies. Vinyl is in excellent near mint condition in original paper inner sleeve with original plastic bag, containing insert cover sleeve as pictured (never released with traditional album sleeve). Back insert with tracklisting, Cover photograph: Patricia Bradley, Cover design: Terri Hooley, "All songs written by The Nerves". Inner label on both sides white label with run-out groove etched with "The Nerves - A1" and "ARUN" on one side and "The Nerves - B1 on other side. Bought directly from band's manager Terri Hooley on initial release and never played due to being in storage overseas with family member for many years. You would be hard pressed to find a copy of this rare record in this condition. If you require additional photos please email me and I'll be happy to send them to you. I am selling off most of my record collection which reflects a wide range of taste which I have collected over 33+ years. I worked in the music industry for much of my life, and many of my records which I will be listing in the coming weeks are quite rare, many are 1st pressings and limited releases. All my records have been well cared for and have not had much play due to being in storage with a family member for many years. This is a reluctant sale as it represents a lifetime's love of music but I also realise that as much as I love all this music it hasn't been played in a very long time and needs a new home where it will be.
