Description

This is a a very rare pre-release EP of the seminal punk rock trio’s only record featuring “Hanging on the Telephone” that Blondie later covered.

This record came directly from Peter Case in the mid 1970s. He was then my brother-in-law. Other members of the group were Jack Lee and Paul Collins. The group was handing out a limited number of these records to stir up interest in their forthcoming release.

The record is in excellent shape. There is a little ringwear on sleeve. Besides “Hanging on the Telephone,” there’s “When You Find Out,” “Give Me Some Time” and “Working Too Hard.”

Despite their relatively short lifespan, The Nerves can claim to be among the founding vanguard of the LA punk and pop scenes.
