The New Birth – Birth Day 1972 RCA LSP-4797 1st Press Plays EX Amazing Funk Soul. Hand cleaned, play tested = EX. Very close to NM. Great, James Brown (and maybe Sam Cooke vocally) influenced hard hitting Funk. An underappreciated band and album. After 10 albums of "The New Birth Inc." (which consisted of the group, "The Nite-Liters" and "Love, Peace & Happiness"), the group, "The New Birth", had decided to just become one entity....With that being said, the group released their most revealing album to date in "Birth Day"... Album Jacket has taped corners, seam splitting, but not all the way. Taped corners are well done and not sloppy. There is also a small saw cut near the top of the album jacket's opening. This is a Dynaflex pressing, but it sounds fantastic! Comes with new, poly lined inner sleeve and new 3ml outer sleeve.
Album hand cleaned with Tergikleen (used by the Library of Congress), Kimtech Wipes (Low Lint, Anti Static), Distilled Water and Brushed with an Anti-Static Brush. Please see all pics for condition.
