Description

Vinyl, LP, Album, Limited Edition, Half'N'Half Gold & Black (Limited Edition of 80 Copies)
Beginning in the early 1980s, The New Blockaders' debut, 'Changez Les Blockeurs' (1982) has been cited as, 'The first true Noise record of the modern era' (Ron Lessard, RRRecords.) 'Live At Morden Tower' (1983) and 'Pulp' (a collaboration with David Jackman / Organum, 1984) were also very influential, having influenced Japanoise giants Merzbow, Hijo Kaidan, Incapacitants, Hanatarash, and countless others.

More recently, TNB's influence has transcended the Noise genre, with many Noise Rock / Noisecore / Thrashnoise artists also citing TNB as an influence. In fact, today you'd be hard pressed to name any Noise artist or group who hasn't in some way (either knowingly or unknowingly) been influenced by The New Blockaders. TNB have been classified as everything from Neo-Futurist, to Industrial, to Post-Industrial, although they prefer to distance themselves from all genres. Their music (or, more accurately, anti-music) has been described as Pure Sonic Nihilism. TNB reject not only music but also art, anti-art, and anything else you care to mention. They, more than any other, define the essence of true Noise music both in art and in act.

Collaborations with Nurse With Wound, Coil, Organum, Das Synthetische Mischgewebe, Kommissar Hjuler, Raymond Dijkstra, Gosplan Trio, The Haters, Merzbow, and Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore has helped introduce TNB to a very diverse audience.

Xtematic is the alter ego manifestation of Marko Jović (born in Croatia, Osijek, 3/3/1994), which started to manifest in 2011. Marko started his art life through listening to various styles of electronic music such as techno, breakcore, drum and bass, trance, hardcore, industrial... He discovered and started producing harsh noise, experimental, dark ambient, hnw, glitch and similar music styles/genders at age of 16. During this time a big influence on him was free improvisation, noise, experimental artist Diazepa.M who brought him into the world of producing. His first release was harsh noise release on Shit Noise Records and a few days later he released an experimental noise release on Itsu Jitsu label together with Adrien Miller... Through the years he started to connect with more and more people with similar interests and ideas. He has collaborated with lots of different people from all around the world and has released his work on various psychical formats such as audio tapes, CDs/CDRs, floppy discs, vinyl, digital... In his work as Xtematic, he is trying to present different states of mind/emotions and he is not strictly connected to one theme or concept. Industrial culture and contrast between dark and light emotions are just some of the themes which he deals with. Projects and artist like Polar Inertia, Pain Jerk, Government Alpha, Genocide Organ, Kazuma Kubota, Godflesh, Access to Arasaka, Lustmord, Aube, Zdzislaw Beksinski and lots of others had a big impact on Marko's producing and life. Some of the artists with which he has collaborated on different projects are The New Blockaders, Government Alpha, Torturing Nurse, Cubic Nomad, One Little Flickering Moment Called Reality, The Karmakumulator, Pavleisdead, To-Bo, The Haters, Richard Ramirez, Dangerous Beat, Mo*Te, :dARM...
