The New Flexo Record Gladys John Orme St.Louis Blues/What A Man Super Rare 1920s flexi disc blue in color.New Flexo records are extremely hard to find.There probably isnt another one of these in existence.It looks black,but when you hold it to light,its blue.8 inch 78 rpm,pressed between 1927-29.This is a really good performance with piano accompaniment, of St.Louis Blues,and What a man.The record has surface scratches,but plays with no skips,or pops,just moderate background noise.I was quite impressed with the sound for such an old record.This is a nice performance, and a piece of record manufacturing history.In a time of shellac discs,these flexi disc were a futuristic invention.Please look at the photos for the only auction info I could find for new flexo records,and company history.
