Description

Very rare LP by The New Jazz Orchestra issued by Verve (MGM Records England) in 1969. Features many of the great jazz musicians at the time including Ian Carr, Jack Bruce, Henry Lowther, Harry Beckett, Neil Ardley etc.
The laminated cover has various creases, edge wear and a small tear over the T and R of ORCHESTRA. The back cover has various annotations and owner's name/address. No splits or tears to seams. Overall cover is VG+
The vinyl has various wispy lines and a few more serious looking marks on the lead in, especially side 2 (see photo). Luckily these aren't too intrusive and produce a few tics at the start of the first track on each side. After that the playback is generally excellent. Record sits perfectly flat. Labels are very nice with a few spindle marks. Overall vinyl is VG+
The record will be packaged very carefully in a cruciform box with the record removed from the sleeve to avoid damage to seams. The record will be housed in a new poly lined inner (original inner will be included).
