The New Oscar Pettiford Sextet Debut Records DLP-8 MONO 10" super rare deep groove original pressing with Charles Mingus, Phil Urso and Julius Watkins, Walter Bishop and Percy Brice. The record comes available maybe once or twice per year and is the 10" original mono pressing in VG+ or better condition and a VG cover. Charles Mingus plays bass on the cuts where Oscar leads from the cello. Two of the 4 Mount Rushmore bassists both on this record from 1953 on Mingus' Debut label he co led with Max Roach.
