Description
This is a completely MEGA RARE Item, 100% real and 100% official. To promote the release of both the SEX book and the EROTICA album in late 1992, Madonna organised a commemorative party, inviting only family, friends and fellow celebrities. This is one of the invitations that was sent out to one lucky guest - The invitation comes with 2 envelopes. One BLACK with the stamped Maverick Logo on it and the other WHITE with Madonna's OWN handwriting on it. It reads: 'Johnny, will be away for the night. I absolutely must see you. I am desperate and if you don't come I won't answer for the consequences. Don't drive up. DITA.' The Invitation itself is printed on beautiful patterned black card paper with a lace that ties the two folding sides together. Inside, the focal point is a cartoon image of Madonna as the dominatrix Dita tied against a pink mattress. The left side of the invitation reads, '775 Washington St at West 12th St, NYC. Thursday, Oct 12th 1992 Nine PM' (the address, time and place of the event) and the right side reads "R.S.V.P before the full moon. Michelle Adkins 212/275-4650' 9 (self-explanatory) The item comes mint and is absolutely gorgeous.
