Description

Up for auction is a The Olympics "Doin The Hully Gully" vinyl LP released on Arvee Records in 1960 (A424 A/B D2). Play-tested record grading as follows:
Record: EX/EX :: Record on both sides is extremely glossy with only the faintest sign of handling or wear. Lead-in wax on both sides produces virtually no noise, same with the dead space between tracks. There is light noise on the lead-out wax on both sides, but any surface noise and/or pops is minimal or non-existent. Lead-in wax on both sides is brilliantly quiet. Plays crisp and fantastic. Again, surface wear is minimal on this record, I was only able to identify 2 very light surface scratches on Side 1 (no skips, popping or any noise caused by them), and one very light surface mark in side 2, again with no noise or issues caused by it. Any wear on this record is superficial, and I'm only disclosing everything just to be thorough. Labels on both sides are brilliant in color, only with 1 light spindle mark on Side 1, and 2 spindle marks on Side 2.
Jacket: EX :: Jacket is in fantastic condition. Virtually no edge wear. No seam splits, only the faintest ringwear on the front side top and bottom. The white on the back cover is brilliant with hardly any signs age. The spine is crisp and clean, with the title legible and centered. No dings, dog ears or any other issues with the cover. Also included is what I believe to be the original parchament/wax paper type sleeve, but I'll have the record in a poly-lined sleeve. This is about as brilliant as it comes.
