The Only Ones Another Girl, Another Planet 1978 UK CBS 6228 Stereo Paper Labels Rock, New Wave
The original card picture sleeve has some age related discolouration and storage/handling wear. There is a black scuff mark on the reverse adjacent to the song titles and at the lower left - the latter is not so distinct. There is also an extremely small area on the reverse where the printed top layer of the card has become separated from the base (this can just be seen in the photos). Ring wear is visible when held at an angle to the light. Graded as VG-.
The vinyl easily and conservatively grades as EX. It has been played. The solid centre sunburst paper CBS labels are clean and undamaged. No spindle marks on either side. Despite the fact that it has been played there are no obvious scratches. There is a scuff on Side 1 but this does not impact on play. No other damage or hairlines. On play grading there was naturally a little static crackle on the run in and run out on both sides. On Side 2 the occasional pop or click was noticeable at the beginning of the track. There was no deterioration in the audio - in fact this is particularly strong. Nothing which impacted on sound quality and therefore enjoyment of the record. The surface is still clean and shiny. A great copy. If both sides were to be graded Side 1 would grade as EX, Side 2 as EX-.
