DESCRIPTION: The Only Ones 1st self titled LP. 1st UK pressing with scarce insert, A1/B1 matrix and correct white inner. My own copy for many years until a recent upgrade. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: CBS 82830 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1978 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/VG.. Vinyl is really clean with a nice dark sheen. Played passages of this today on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds excellent, pretty much faultless. Clear, clean and loud. Cover is firm and square and has moderate edgewear, cornerwear and creasing. It has a 1" split where top edge joins opening edge, ive actually just noticed it when listing. Insert is clean , firm and square with light wear only. Clean labels. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER POST-PUNK/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
