The Orange Bird Starring Anita Bryant

 

Format: LP Vinyl Record

Record Label: Disneyland

Release: 1971

Condition: Record is in VG+ condition, some surface scuffs and scratches not affecting play. Sleeve is in VG condition, some wear and fading, has name written on front cover and on back cover and pencil written on inner back cover (picture below). Original booklet is in VG+ condition with no tears or writing on it.


The Orange Bird was a Disney character from the early 1970's, which was sponsored by Florida citrus growers. Anita Bryant was at the time the spokes person for the Florida citrus growers and was teamed up with the Orange Bird for print and tv adds. She sang the Orange Bird's theme, and other songs related to the Bird. The theme song along with others on this record were written by the famous Sherman Brothers who wrote essentially all the classic Disney tunes.
