Description

Item Description:
The Organ Grinders – Out Of The Egg (1970)
Label: Mercury Records
Catalog Number: SR-61282
Format: Vinyl, LP, Album, Stereo
Country of Origin: US Import
Condition Grading (Goldmine Standard):
• Media Condition: Mint (M) / Near Mint (NM). Absolute archive quality. The vinyl looks stunning and appears entirely unplayed. The surfaces boast an incredible, flawless mirror-like factory sheen. No hairlines, no paper scuffs, and zero spindle trails on the crisp orange Mercury labels. Finding a 1970 psych record with grooves preserved this beautifully is an absolute rarity.
• Sleeve Condition: Very Good (VG). The single-pocket jacket shows authentic, honest age-related storage wear. There is light shelf friction, minor edge/spine rubbing, and faint ring wear visible on the reverse cover. The corners show standard softening. Spine text remains entirely legible. No major splits or tears.

About This Album:
An incredibly rare and heavily overlooked treasure of US underground psychedelic rock, heavy baroque pop, and early prog-rock from Baltimore. Driven by exceptional grinding organ arrangements, complex multi-part vocal harmonies, and unique studio production, this is a prime specimen for any serious collector of late-60s/early-70s counterculture rock. Original US pressings in this spectacular, flawless visual state almost never surface.
