Description

Offered up is a white-label DJ promo copy in original RCA sleeve of legendary garage 1965 single “I Can’t Stand This Love, Goodbye” from South Kingston, RI group The Others. This was the first of their three singles, and despite failing to chart nationally, is one of the best singles from the 1960s ever released, IMO.

Many collectors, if not most, will call this copy Mint, but since I’ve played it once, I’m calling it Near Mint. It plays with zero pops, clicks, etc., etc. In other words, perfectly: no background noise at all. No writing or tears or other physical imperfections on the the label as you can verify from the photos. The only drawback is that the label is no longer bright white, having lost some of its brilliance over the past 55 years. The sleeve has some imperfections, as one might expect. Note the photo showing the upper corner’s small tears.
