Original test pressing...(with plain white labels, rubber-stamped with basic info only)...and this is NOT cut from the master-disc from which the eventually released LP was pressed - this has different (earlier) matrix numbers.

The matrices for the released version are:

Side 1:   SMX60379  4  5  P2AH

Side 2:   38  SMX60380  P2A  6

...and the matrices for this version are:

Side 1:  1   SMX60379  P2A

Side 2:  1   SMX60380  P2A 

This was the very first 'cut' made by the engineers, and was never used, other than to make one run of test pressings (I worked in closely with the Festival pressing plant throughout the entire 80's, and the norm was to press SIX copies of any test pressings at this time - so I'd assume there's only another 5 of these in existence - if they've even made it this far).

 

Also, the eventual catalogue number of the released version is: RML-53102...note that this has the number AML-53102 stamped on both labels.

 

CONDITION:

COVER: ( - )...[comes in its original plain white die-cut paper sleeve...that ALL Festival test pressings were delivered in

RECORD: ( EX )...looks very close to as shiny and clean as the day it was pressed...just has a couple of thee most minor scuffs only...beautiful !! ... 

LABELS: (Side One: M- / Side Two: M- )...looks like it's rarely been played...
