I have acquired a massive collection of 1960's 7" Singles and EP's, many of which are demo copies and rarities. This single is a very rare miss-press. I cannot find anything about it on any of the major websites What has happened here is that the record is correct as far as the matrix numbers stamped into the dead wax However THE LABELS ARE NOT CORRECT The labels are Capitol Records labels, and the title is Silly Boy, by the Lettermen which came out in 1962 Not content with one error, both sides have the same SILLY BOY LABEL

Condition
The company Sleeve has no seam splits and only a little top corner writing
The labels have no marks or writing
The vinyl is still glossy. Under spotlights shows a number of very fine hairlines and a couple of light paper scuffs
Despite these marks the record plays without distortion and only a little low level occasional background
