Description

The Paul Butterfield Blues Band - East West - Used 1987 Edsel repressing.  This is the 1987 repressing of the brilliant1966 album.  Edsel, based in the UK, is known as a superior repressing label.  I bought this album new in 1987, played it once, then archived it.  By the time I bought the album, I was playing this album using a  CD format.  The vinyl is in superb shape, and only modesty keeps me from calling the quality Mint.  Same for the sleeve.  The album sleeve is still wrapped in the original thick cellophane-type material.
The music itself remains transcendent, and was a signal step forward in American electric blues. Bloomfield and Butterfield were at the height of their powerful collaboration.
