Description
Very rare and sought after Platters lp on Federal. Not sure how to describe this one. Has numerous superficial marks although none feelable. The outer groove guard suggests that it was played on one of those old stackable record players. However, the disc still retains luster and plays excellently, although there was some distortion on the high end during first track (Only You). I guess you would grade it at VG although seems to play much better. This is a deep groove copy with the black Federal label. The cover is in VG condition with "invisible" tape along 2/3 of bottom seam All other seams are intact. Slight ringwear on front and yellow sticker residue on top right. Back is VG+ with sticker residue also on top right and small "3" written neatly on top left. All in all a pretty nice copy of this desirable old doo wop lp.
