Description
The Police - Can't Stand Losing You / Dead End Job - UK 1978 A&M AMS 7381 - Red vinyl 'Tone' - Very Good (VG) condition overall.
Very collectable red vinyl version of this single by The Police.
Sleeve is in really nice condition.
Much more difficult to assess the visual condition of coloured vinyl but it plays very well for the most part - however, there are a couple of minor pops here and there and some light crackle on the quiet passge towards the end of the track - plus there is some surface noise on the run out at the end.
Hence the downgrading of the vinyl to Good Plus (G+).
Having said that it is still, all in all, a nice copy.

All records carefully cleaned with soft brushes and cloths and play tested on a Audio-Technica AT-LP-120 deck through a Cambridge A2 amp and Gale monitor speakers. As always a professional clean would probably enhance the vinyl.
Sold as seen, in conjunction with grading - please see scans for actual item being sold.
The age of a record has got absolutely nothing to do with the grading system.
A record that has been properly cared for will still play perfectly well after 50 or 60 years - if it doesn't then it has been damaged.
I do my best to note any faults and to grade as accurately as is possible. Erring on the side of caution rather than being misleadingly positive.
A quick look at my feedback will bear testament to that.
