Description
Artist: The Police Title: Can't Stand Losing You / Dead End Job Label: A & M Records Cat No: AMS 7381 Format: 7" Vinyl Country: UK Matrix: AMS 7381 A1 / AMS 7381 B1 Released: June 1979 Charted UK#2 Condition: Sleeve Mint! / Vinyl EX+ / Label Mint Picture Sleeve in Mint Condition due to being stored in Poly Sleeve since new. Comments: This is the only known copy and possibly a unique mispressed colour of this 1978 UK 7" original release from the A1/B1 stamper. This was originally pressed in medium blue vinyl but this copy is light blue with black vinyl marbling which can be seen without holding to the light. This original issue with POLICE on the label was only issued in medium blue vinyl but this copy is the same light blue colur as the 1979 re-issue in light blue vinyl with THE POLICE on the label. A&M's pressing plant must of have got the colour tone mixed up with a previous light blue pressing which has carried on into this release, which only happens to one of two copies before reverting to it's correct colour. This is possibly a one off and very rare seeing this light blue colour when it's meant to be blue. I will start this auction at £49.99 to give everyone a chance to bid. Due to the rarity I will only send signed for delivery with online tracking. I am also throwing in the standard blue vinyl issue which is near mint and is also a first pressing with identical matrix and matrix handwriting, with the correct colour.
